Alistair Cuthbert advises on a range of investment fund and asset management matters. His experience includes advising on fund formation, restructuring and liquidation, as well as on secondary market transactions, investment management and advisory agreements, service provider agreements (generally) and regulatory issues. In addition, he advises on corporate transactions and joint ventures involving asset management businesses. Mr. Cuthbert advises both asset managers and investors.
Mr. Cuthbert also advises on prime brokerage and derivatives documentation for private funds and retail funds (including structured UCITS funds), together with related custody and collateral arrangements.
Prior to joining Dechert, he was an associate in the financial services practice of an international law firm.
Mr. Cuthbert qualified as a solicitor in 2008.
