Andrea E. Baron’s practice focuses on counseling investment advisers, registered and private investment companies and other financial institutions. Ms. Baron advises her clients on regulatory, corporate and compliance matters arising primarily under U.S. federal securities laws as well as commodities and derivatives laws and regulations. She has assisted clients with investment adviser registration, requests for no-action relief from the Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission, compliance policies and procedures, marketing and advertising issues and launching new funds.
Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Baron was a legal intern at the Investment Adviser Association.
Ms. Baron also volunteers with Back on My Feet, a group that promotes the self-sufficiency of homeless people by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.
