Anthony A. Licata, CPA* has served as Chief Financial Officer of Dechert since 2008. Mr. Licata has significant public and private company experience in the financial services industry, including the oversight of Sarbanes Oxley compliance implementation and management of outsourced back office finance operations. These skills in both internal control development and process improvement are used to oversee a wide variety of finance functions across the firm’s growing international partnership structure.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Licata was Vice President of Finance and Administration of Hospitals Insurance Company. He was responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial and administrative activities, including financial statement reporting, management and administration of the company’s investment portfolio, general ledger development and maintenance, pricing, budgeting and planning, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, real estate, facilities, and the human resource function.
Prior to his tenure at Hospital Insurance Company, Mr. Licata was Global Assistant Controller for the Commercial Equipment Financing unit at General Electric Company, where he managed teams both in the United States and in Delhi, India. He has also held significant finance positions at both The Hartford and Arthur Andersen LLP.
