James H. Nix has a diverse practice that includes private fund formation and business organizations, reorganizations, and acquisitions. He also represents investment managers in a full range of legal and regulatory issues.
Mr. Nix is an expert in the general taxation of business organizations, in the taxation of private equity funds and hedge funds and their managers, and evaluation of the tax consequences to U.S. persons investing abroad and foreign persons investing in the United States.
