Significant Representations
- Successful representation of a major medical device manufacturer on Lanham Act claims of reverse passing off against a competitor in litigation also involving claims of trade secret misappropriation, breaches of fiduciary duty and contract, and unfair competition
- Successful defense of a prominent collectibles company in litigation by a former independent contractor alleging copyright infringement of a trophy design for a major sporting body. Secured summary judgment at the district court level, and successfully defended appeal
- Successfully represented an international company against allegations of unauthorized software copying and use
- Handled numerous issues in patent infringement litigation against manufacturers of computer monitors encompassing infringing power management features
- Successfully defended an insurance company in a lawsuit by a state insurance department for the return of funds allegedly improperly paid from a state catastrophic injury fund, and prevailed on a counterclaim for additional statutorily-mandated funds, resulting in net $1 million benefit to client
