Kevin M. O’Brien is an associate in the financial services group. He focuses his practice on advising U.S. registered funds, unregistered domestic and offshore funds, and funds organized under the European Union directive on Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) on global distribution issues, as well as various regulatory, compliance, governance and business matters. He also advises unregistered funds, including hedge funds and private equity funds, and their advisers on the structuring, restructuring and formation of domestic and offshore funds and investment adviser compliance.
