Energy Harbor Completes Sale to Vistra

Dechert advised Energy Harbor Corp., a trustworthy energy supplier serving retail electricity to nearly one million residents and businesses in the Mid-Atlantic region, in its acquisition by Vistra, a leading Fortune 500 integrated retail electricity and power generation company.

This transaction expands Vistra’s leading integrated zero-carbon generation and retail electricity business with the addition of approximately 4,000 megawatts of 24/7 nuclear generation and approximately one million additional retail customers. With the acquisition of Energy Harbor, Vistra now stands as the country’s largest competitive power generator.
