Preparing an amicus brief on behalf of a public interest group in support of Dura Pharmaceuticals. In this life sciences case, the Supreme Court addressed the issue of "loss causation" under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act and, ultimately, ruled in favor of Dura.

Defending Constar International and Crown Holdings in a putative securities class action related to Crown Holdings' 2002 offering, pursuant to which Constar was sold to the public. The plaintiffs allege that defendants violated Section 11 of the Securities Act of 1933 by misrepresenting various aspects of Constar's operations and accounting. The case is now in the class certification and discovery phases.
