Mayer B. Grashin focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, including securities actions, directors’ and officers’ liability actions, and shareholder derivative suits.
Mr. Grashin has extensive experience in suits brought under Sections 11 and 12 of the Securities Act, Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act, and state law related to mortgage-backed and publicly traded securities. He has also handled internal investigations, creditors’ rights litigation, and pro bono civil rights suits.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Grashin was a litigation associate in the New York office of an international law firm. His prior legal experience also includes serving as a volunteer law clerk for the Honorable Jack B. Schmetterer of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
