Craig P. Druehl's practice focuses on representing ad hoc groups and official committees of creditors, as well as distressed investors, lenders and other creditors in out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 and 15 cases. He also has substantial experience representing acquirers of assets in Chapter 11 cases, companies in out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 cases and parties to bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Druehl is recognized in New York and nationally as a highly regarded lawyer for restructuring and insolvency, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, aviation and gaming by IFLR1000. He has been recognized for corporate restructuring (including bankruptcy) by The Legal 500 (US), which has described him as “practical and thorough.” Mr. Druehl has also been named one of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers.

In addition to his restructuring work, Mr. Druehl maintains an active pro bono practice. In 2023, he was honored by the New York State Unified Court System's Office for Justice Initiatives for his significant contributions to the New York City Family Court Volunteer Program over the past 12 years.

Dechert was lead U.S. counsel to the noteholders in connection with Vitro’s concurso proceeding in Mexico, Chapter 15 cases in Dallas, Texas, and litigation in New York Supreme Court.
