Andrea L.C. Reid Named Among Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Dechert LLP intellectual property partner Andrea L.C. Reid has been named among the Top Women of Law in 2017 by the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. The publication’s award series celebrates outstanding achievements by exceptional women lawyers and honors those who have made tremendous professional strides and demonstrated great accomplishments in the legal field.

Reid has over 30 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, affording her a substantive technical skill set. Her extensive experience in areas from drug discovery through development affords her a unique perspective on IP and its role during the different stages of drug development. This breadth of expertise results in her ability to counsel pharmaceutical clients throughout all phases of the business cycle.

Reid’s proven track record in developing IP strategies for start-up and growing clients has resulted in acquisition and investor/partner funding worth more than US$6.5 billion. She utilizes this experience in evaluating IP associated with in-license and acquisition opportunities and has counseled clients in numerous IP due diligence analyses.

The Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly will honor the Top Women of Law at an awards ceremony at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston on November 2.
