Jill Ross Joins Dechert’s Antitrust/Competition Practice in New York

International law firm Dechert LLP announced today that Jill Ross has joined the firm’s Antitrust/Competition practice as counsel in New York. She was most recently counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
“Jill brings an additional 20 years of top-quality antitrust experience to our strong antitrust/competition practice. We are very pleased that she has joined us and look forward to the continued growth and development of Dechert’s antitrust team,” said New-York based Michael L. Weiner, co-chair of the Antitrust/Competition practice.
Ross focuses her practice on the antitrust defense of mergers and acquisitions, representing clients in all phases of the federal and state antitrust review process. She has appeared before the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission and state antitrust authorities, representing corporate clients in a diverse range of industries.
Ross is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., 1985) and New York University School of Law (J.D., 1990). She is a member of the New York Bar.
Dechert has one of the top antitrust practices in the United States, according to legal referral guide Chambers USA.
