This seminar presented by Dechert attorneys and with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Head of Deals – Eurasia as guest speaker will address the key commercial and legal issues that frequently arise on Kazakhstan M&A transactions.

The presentations will range from the local practical aspects of doing deals to transaction documents drafting and negotiation to enforcing remedies. The conflict between English law (the governing law of choice for most international M&A transactions) and Kazakhstan law, and the use of English law concepts in the Kazakhstan context, will also be analyzed. Presentations will be given in Russian or English with simultaneous translation.
