Nigerian Lawyers Association Names Deborah Kemi Martin 2016 Rising Star

Dechert LLP associate Deborah Kemi Martin has been recognized as a 2016 Rising Star by the Nigerian Lawyers Association. The award “honors a lawyer's professional accomplishments and contributions within his or her career, highlighting the individual's significant accomplishments in his or her area of legal practice, as well as his or her accomplishments in promoting diversity within the legal profession.”

Deborah Kemi Martin is a white collar and securities litigator. She represents clients in courts domestic and international in complex civil and criminal matters, government enforcement proceedings, government and internal investigations, and securities litigation. She was born in Nigeria and raised partly in Nigeria, Northern England, and the United States.

She was honored at the NLA Merit Awards Dinner on October 29 at 630 Second in New York, NY.
