Ravinder Bhullar Joins Dechert as International Arbitration Partner in Dubai
Dechert LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that Ravinder Bhullar has joined the firm as a partner in the International Arbitration Practice. He will be based in the Dubai office. Bhullar was previously a partner at another international law firm in Dubai.

Bhullar specialises in international commercial arbitration and international litigation matters. With a focus on disputes arising out of construction, infrastructure and energy projects, he represents parties across these industry sectors, as well as mining, oil and gas and natural resources, where he has advised owners/investors, governments, contractors, and insurers. He also advises clients on complex commercial litigation concerning financial institutions, insurance, international trade and real estate.
He has extensive experience in arbitrations conducted under the rules of the ICC, SCC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA and DIAC, as well as ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL and other procedural rules. While experienced in arbitrations seated around the world, he has particular expertise in those connected with the Middle East and Gulf regions. Bhullar has also served as an arbitrator in several significant arbitrations.
Bhullar has been ranked as a leading international arbitration lawyer in publications such as The Legal 500 EMEA 2016, where he is recommended for construction, and in Chambers Global, where he has for many years been ranked for construction: dispute resolution.
Bhullar is the latest in a series of strategic hires for Dechert in the Dubai offices, following in recent months Hamish Walton in the corporate practice and Phillip Sacks in financial services.
