Scott Warren Joins Dechert IP Practice in New York

Global specialist law firm Dechert LLP announced today that Scott Warren has joined the firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property practice in the New York office. Warren was previously a partner at Goodwin Procter LLP.

"Scott is a welcome addition to our group," said Ann M. Caviani Pease, co-chair of Dechert's intellectual property practice. "His insights regarding generics and his overall background in the life sciences area will be of particular benefit to our clients."

Warren advises clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical and medical device industries on a wide range of intellectual property issues. He has a background in litigation, counseling and patent prosecution.

"Dechert is a great fit for me, they have a strong IP practice and are very active in the life sciences space," Warren said. "I’m very happy to join such a dynamic team."

A graduate of Princeton University (A.B., 1986) and Columbia Law School (J.D. 1997), Warren is a member of the New York State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
