Benjamin Lacourt focuses his practice on investment funds with an emphasis on financial regulatory matters. Mr. Lacourt advises French and international financial institutions on various issues such as the marketing of financial products, banking and financial regulations as well as the setting-up and restructuring of management companies and investment vehicles located in France or in other European jurisdictions. His experience further includes the creation and the distribution of alternative investment vehicles (private equity, infrastructures, hedge funds and real estate) and UCITS funds as well as advising clients on financing transactions.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Lacourt trained in several international law firms and served as an associate in the banking department of another international law firm. He is fluent in French and English.
