Kenneth D. Hackman is an associate in Dechert’s global finance practice. Mr. Hackman’s practice encompasses a broad range of real estate finance and investment matters, including the representation of borrowers and lenders on repurchase facilities, warehouse facilities and single-family rental finance transactions, including the origination and securitization of single-family rental loans. Mr. Hackman also has significant experience in the origination, acquisition and disposition of complex mortgage loans, mezzanine financings, the financing of distressed and under-performing mortgage debt, and the modification, workout and restructuring of complex distressed-debt structures. Mr. Hackman represents a number of investment banks, commercial banks, life insurance companies, institutional investors, specialty finance companies, REITs and private equity funds.

Mr. Hackman is an active participant in industry trade organizations such as the CRE Finance Council (CREFC) and is also a contributor to Dechert’s finance and real estate blog, Crunched Credit.
