Life Sciences - Among a range of contentious and non-contentious successes, Dechert’s life sciences team orchestrated a cross-border jurisdictional migration for clinical-stage biotechnology company Tiziana Life Sciences, resulting in a sole NASDAQ listing and a new Bermuda domicile. Structured Finance - Dechert’s global finance team represented MF1 Capital in a US$2.022 billion commercial real estate collateralized loan obligation (CRE CLO), one of the largest CRE CLOs ever issued, and set a new template in assisting Churchill Asset Management in its inaugural collateralized fund obligation. In a standout year, the firm also acted on a landmark credit union securitization, on the first two agricultural mortgage-backed securities issuances in nearly two decades, and on multiple transactions in the burgeoning single-family rental finance market.
