Paris Screening of "A Price Worth Paying?"

The Association des Responsables de Fusions Acquisitions (ARFA) and Dechert are pleased to invite you on Wednesday 1 October 2014 to an evening discussion on “Compliance in the M&A process”, in which the film A Price Worth Paying? will be screened.

A Price Worth Paying? is a dramatic fiction which portrays the board, the management team and the outside counsel of an imaginary company called Maartel International and discusses how each protagonists will identify and react to various emerging risks linked to the acquisition of a third company in a risk country.

The film, written by Dechert’s partners specialized in white collar crime, experienced administrators and legal directors addresses related issues including:

• The executive compensation
• Specific acquisition risks in emerging countries
• How to deal with serious charges from a whistleblower
• Or the role of each stakeholder of the company in different situations
