What now for EU-US data flows: Life after Safe Harbor

Webinar

17:00 - 18:00 (BST)
12:00 - 13:00 (EDT)
18:00 - 19:00 (CET)

Overview

The European Court of Justice ruling in the Schrems case declared the Safe Harbor invalid. Companies that have used this cross-Atlantic governmental agreement to ensure that EU to US data flows are legal now need to explore other solutions. The Court has also empowered national regulators to act more independently than was previously thought possible.

This webinar will explain what the ruling actually said, what alternative solutions are now available to both US Safe Harbor members, and to EU companies sending data to those members, and how regulators are reacting and may continue to react.

An international team of data protection specialists will ensure participants will come away with a good practical understanding of what the decision means for their business and how they can now carry on outside of Safe Harbor.
