Are you prepared for the impact of the new German investment taxation rules on your business coming into force on 1 January 2018? We would be happy to share our experiences and to discuss the latest developments with you and to show you how the new tax rules may influence existing and future fund structures.

This seminar will focus on providing a brief overview of the new German investment taxation regime, taking in particular into account the specific aspects for non-German resident fund vehicles and their managers. We will also point out what measures should taken prior to the end of this year.

We will also cover:

  • UCITS – which benefits remain for fund investments compared to other structuring alternatives?
  • AIFs – which challenges have to be met when structuring specific asset class funds (e.g. real estate, private equity and debt funds)?
  • Changes of German tax administrative procedures for non-German investment vehicles
  • Other current German investment tax developments

The session will be followed by a drinks reception and the opportunity to network and ask the panellists any further questions you may have.
