Despite the ICO's statement in its blog that the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) marks an evolution in data protection rather than a revolution, many employers are understandably apprehensive about the changes that lie ahead when the new law comes into effect on 25 May 2018.
Speakers from Dechert LLP will offer practical guidance on how to prepare for the GDPR in this seminar which will cover:
- The changes that really matter for employers.
- The limits of consent and alternative bases for processing employees' personal data.
- Employees' enhanced rights (including subject access rights).
