Kayo Women's Private Markets Summit

Dechert is proud to sponsor Kayo's 6th Annual Women's Private Markets Summit in Chicago, Illinois. This 2-day event will unite women investors across private credit, private equity, and venture capital, for networking, deal flow and panel discussions.

Private equity partner Gerrie Sinatra will moderate a panel titled "How to Buy When Everything is Expensive." With high cash reserves on corporate balance sheets and ample private equity dry powder, deal-makers are looking to put capital to work. This panel will look at how deals are getting done in an environment where valuations are rich and competition is high, including unique sourcing strategies, trends in acquisition term sheets, tax considerations and creativity in structuring.

In addition, global finance partner Samantha Koplik will moderate a panel titled "M&A: Syndication Process from the Perspective of the Sponsor" which will cover why a successful syndication process is a key element for any leveraged buyouts transaction and what role a financial sponsor plays in this part of the deal. This panel will also explore the roles and responsibilities of private equity firms, including communication strategies, timing, term sheets and pitfalls.
