The Insured Retirement Institute will present a webinar, titled “Protecting Older Investors: What You Need to Know About the Senior Safe Act,” on June 27. The webinar presenters, including Dechert partner K. Susan Grafton, will examine the Senior Safe Act, a new law which focuses on preventing older investors from becoming financial exploitation victims. Topics include:
- The key elements of the act;
- Who is covered by the law and what must be done to receive immunity from liability under the law’s terms; and
- The content and requirements of training that must be received in order to gain immunity protection under the law.
