Professional Ethics For Legal and Compliance Summit
RCA, NYSBA’s Committee on Attorney Professionalism and Dechert proudly announce Professional Ethics for Legal and Compliance – NYC 2018.
The Faculty will explore issues and developments relating to the ethical duties and responsibilities of General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officers, in-house counsel, and other legal and compliance staff in the context of:
· Internal investigations
· Regulatory examinations and inquiries
· Enforcement actions
· Civil litigation
· Criminal prosecutions
· Financial statement audits
· Whistleblower complaints
Faculty members will evaluate these issues from several perspectives, including:
· Counsel and staff for the entity
· Investigating counsel
· Counsel for individual executives
· Counsel for government agencies
