Dechert Advises BlackRock TCP Capital Corp. on its Proposed Merger with BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation
Dechert advised the independent directors of the Board of Directors of BlackRock TCP Capital Corp. (“TCPC”) in connection with TCPC’s entry into an agreement to merge with BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation (“BCIC”).
Following the merger, the combined company will have enhanced scale and a larger asset base, including total assets of approximately $2.4 billion, and net assets of approximately $1.1 billion.
