SEC Update on Executive Compensation Disclosures

In a recent speech to the American Bar Association, John White, Director of the Division of Corporation Finance, provided an update on a number of projects in the Division. With regard to executive compensation disclosures contained in this past season's proxy statements, and plans to issue comments shortly. In addition, the Staff intends to issue its report on its findings some time before next proxy season in order to provide guidance to companies that were not reviewed.
