Court Holds that National Labor Relations Board Can Require Employers to Post Notice of Employee Rights

March 06, 2012
In National Association of Manufacturers v. N.L.R.B., a federal judge upheld the National Labor Relations Board’s controversial rule requiring most employers, including those with no unionized employees, to post a notice of employee rights in the workplace. Unless the ruling is overturned, the NLRB’s rule will become effective on April 30, 2012, and covered employers must be prepared to comply with it.
