House Bill Would Increase the Threshold for Enhanced Prudential Supervision of BHCs

A House bill would amend various provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act to generally change the threshold for enhanced prudential supervision of bank holding companies (BHCs) from $50 billion or more in assets to a more limited group of BHCs that have been designated as global systemically important BHCs for risk-based capital surcharge purposes.
