Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance coming into force in Hong Kong  

The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance will come into effect on 1 January 2016, giving a third party, in certain circumstances, the right to enforce a contract to which it is not a party. This will bring Hong Kong into line with comparable common law jurisdictions like England and Singapore.
