A decree that came into force on the 13th January of this year has defined a new framework for arbitration cases by making them more accessible and easier to understand for businesses. This should help France remain a key global centre for commercial arbitration. The view of experts Pierre Mayer and Xavier Nyssen is that the reforms will boost Paris’ attractiveness as an arbitration venue.
