Alexandra Briens focuses her practice on labor and employment matters.

Ms. Briens has extensive experience in individual and collective employment law. In addition to representing French and international clients in litigation filed by employees, she advises her clients on employee hiring, drafting and amending employment contracts, secondment of employees in France, amicable terminations and dismissals. She also advises on collective matters, such as issues concerning employee representatives, negotiation of company-wide bargaining agreements or professional elections. Her experience includes handling matters in the context of restructurings, and particularly, the drawing up of collective redundancy plans.

She has particular expertise in the luxury, finance and services sectors.

Prior to joining Dechert in 2014, Ms. Briens served at an international law firm. She also clerked in Paris for French and international law firms.
