
Jeremy H.W. Buday is an associate in Dechert’s global finance practice. Mr. Buday focuses his practice on representing asset managers, alternative capital providers and other financial institutions, including private equity sponsors and firms, borrowers, lenders, business development companies and private and public companies, on a broad range of leveraged finance transactions, fund finance transactions and debt restructurings, and regularly advises on transactions in the private credit space.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Buday was a finance associate at another international law firm in Washington, D.C. and general counsel at a fund in Greenwich, Connecticut. His previous practice included representations in complex financings, including leveraged, asset-based, and repo transactions, with an emphasis in the FinTech market. Additionally, he has experience with CLO transactions and RMBS/ABS securitizations involving a variety of financial assets. He has also spent a significant amount of time overseas in Africa, Asia and the Middle-East.
