Emily Cairns focuses her practice on litigation matters, with particular emphasis on white collar and securities litigation. Ms. Cairns is particularly experienced in the investigation and defence of fraud, money laundering and corruption.

Ms. Cairns has also worked on a number of pro bono matters including submitting an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court in the landmark case Windsor v United States; and drafting a report for the Human Dignity Trust on the current sexual offences laws of countries in the commonwealth and their amenability for review.
