Grace Canfield focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters. Ms. Canfield represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions across a wide range of industry sectors.

Ms. Canfield joined Dechert as a summer associate in 2021. During law school, she served as the Managing Editor of Articles for the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs.

  • Select Medical Holdings Corporation, a leading operator of critical illness recovery hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient rehabilitation clinics, and occupational health centers, and Concentra Group Holdings Parent, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Select Medical, in connection with Concentra’s IPO.
  • Court Square Capital Partners in connection with its acquisition of Velosio, LLC, a leading provider of digital transformation services, managed services, and managed cloud subscriptions for the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
  • Bregal Partners L.P. in connection with its sale of Shock Doctor, Inc. (d/b/a United Sports Brands) and its subsidiaries.
  • Ahead, Inc., a portfolio company of Berkshire Partners and leading provider of platforms for digital business, in connection with its acquisition of Motherboard Express Company d/b/a MBX Systems, which designs, builds and integrates hardware solutions for technology developers.
