  • Mid Europa Partners, the leading private equity investor in Central and Eastern Europe, on a number of matters, including:
    • The acquisition of a majority stake in Mlinar, the leading bakery retail and wholesale business in Croatia which operates the largest bakery retail network in South East Europe, from its founder, Mato Škojo.
    • The acquisition of Urgent Cargus, the leading courier, express and parcel service provider in Romania, from Abris Capital Partners.
    • The sale of Zabka Polska, the leading Polish convenience retailer, to funds advised by CVC (at the time the largest ever transaction in Polish food retail sector and the largest ever private equity exit in Poland).
    • The investment in Moji Brendovi, a group of branded consumer goods companies’, such as Bambi, Imlek and Knjaz Milos, active in Serbia and other countries in the region.
    • The investment in Allegro (together with Cinven and Permira), the leading online marketplace and non-food shopping website in Poland.
    • The IPO of Waberer’s, the largest road transport company in Hungary and one of the largest freight transport operators in Europe (at the time the largest IPO on the Budapest Stock Exchange since 1998).
    • The sale of Energy 21, the largest Czech based independent operator of photovoltaic power plants in Central and Eastern Europe, to China CEE Investment Co-Operation Fund.
    • The investment in Walmark, the number 1 independent vitamins, minerals and dietary supplements manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe.
    • The acquisition of Customer Management Center, the largest independent outsourced call center and customer management services provider in Turkey.
  • PPF Group in the €2.8 billion acquisition of Telenor’s telecommunications assets in Central & Eastern Europe.
  • Rockaway Capital on their acquisition of Netretail and Heureka from Naspers.
  • Towerbook in the sale of minority stake in its funds to Wafra.
  • Sankaty Advisors on its purchase of the JPM Morgan Global Special Operations Group investment portfolio.
  • Pure Gym in its acquisition of LA Fitness.
