Ashley A. Flynn focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on products liability and mass torts matters. Ms. Flynn has represented major pharmaceutical companies in individual and multi-jurisdictional actions involving personal injury claims. She is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, depositions and dispositive motions.

Ms. Flynn maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented individuals in various immigration matters including securing a grant of asylum for an LGBTQ+ client in partnership with Immigration Equality.

Ms. Flynn joined Dechert as a summer associate in 2016.

  • A multinational company as California counsel in mass personal injury litigation that alleged that a product was contaminated with asbestos. Dechert has secured multiple defense verdicts and also serves as appellate counsel for one of the company’s subsidiaries in Philadelphia cases alleging personal injury from use of antipsychotic medication. Past successes include securing remittitur of an $8 billion jury verdict to $6.8 million.
