Dr. Markus J. Friedl advises companies and financial investors on national and cross-border M&A transactions and restructurings, as well as on general corporate and corporate finance law matters. He has significant experience with regard to the emission of bonds and bond restructurings. He also has ample expertise in advising foreign investors with respect to the foreign investment control regulations of their investments in Germany.

Dr. Friedl is recognized in IFLR1000's 2018 rankings for corporate and M&A in Germany.

Prior to joining Dechert, Dr. Friedl served as counsel at a major German law firm and also worked for several international law firms in Frankfurt.
