Antonio Gordillo Fernández de Villavicencio focuses his practice on international arbitration.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Gordillo Fernández de Villavicencio served as deputy counsel in the Latin American/Iberian team at the ICC International Court of Arbitration, where he administered more than 70 cases from various industrial sectors. He also previously worked at a leading law firm in Seville, Spain, and interned at leading international arbitration boutiques in Madrid and Paris.

Mr. Gordillo has also acted as administrative secretary to arbitral tribunals in ICC and CIMA arbitration proceedings. Furthermore, Mr. Gordillo is “Asistente Honorario” of the Universidad de Sevilla, where he has been lecturing on Introduction to International Arbitration, in the postgraduated Master’s programme on the Practice of Law, since 2013.

  • A major Spanish oil and gas company in a commercial dispute against a UAE company arising out of an alleged service contracts in the North-African area.
