Christine Isaacs is an associate in Dechert’s Trials, Investigations, and Securities group. She represents individuals, corporations, and financial institutions in general litigation matters including labor and employment, internal investigations, bankruptcy litigation, and commercial litigation in federal and state courts, investigations, and in mediation. Ms. Isaacs represents clients in diverse fields including financial services, investment banking, media and entertainment, and information technology.
Ms. Isaacs’ experience includes representing clients in matters including sex trafficking and she has conducted internal investigations into #MeToo allegations and other employee misconduct. Her experience touches on all parts of the civil litigation process, including managing discovery, drafting dispositive motions, all aspects of trial preparation, trial work, and drafting post-trial motions.
In addition, Ms. Isaacs has an extensive Pro Bono practice comprising of representation of veterans and unemployment benefits claimants. Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Isaacs was a 2017 Pro Bono Scholar at Volunteers of Legal Service (VOLS), where she completed over 500 hours in the Unemployment Insurance Advocacy Project. At Dechert, she continued to work with VOLS in assisting New Yorkers obtain unemployment benefits as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. She was included on the VOLS 2021 Pro Bono Dean’s List and is a member of the VOLS Pro Bono Advocates Council. Ms. Isaacs has also represented veterans including before the US Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims and in obtaining Combat Related Special Compensation (“CRSC”) benefits.
