David M. Linder, a partner in Dechert's global finance practice, focuses his practice on commercial mortgage loan servicing, workouts and restructurings, distressed asset trading, and loan origination. He has significant experience in the commercial mortgage capital markets, both as a lawyer and as a large loan banker.

Mr. Linder is ranked as a leading lawyer for California Real Estate by Chambers USA, where he was praised for being an "excellent" lawyer specializing in a variety of complex real estate financing matters, including distressed asset lending, restructurings and commercial mortgage loans, who “identifies issues early on and suggests practical solutions” and who “clients admire [for] his ‘technical expertise’”. In 2016, Mr. Linder was elected a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. The College, founded in 1978, convenes lawyers distinguished for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law who will contribute to the education and fellowship of its members.
