Cameron Mitcham, a partner in Dechert’s Global Finance Practice, advises on a broad range of financial and capital markets transactions with a focus on structured finance, funds finance and securitisation. He represents investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, investors and other financial institutions in connection with a diverse range of asset classes (including trade receivables, credit cards, insurance, auto, student loans, leases and residential and commercial mortgage loans), incorporating a wide range of structures (including CLO/CDOs, ABCP conduits, RMBS, CMBS, covered bonds and whole business securitisations). Mr. Mitcham also advises on the restructuring of complex financial transactions.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Mitcham was in the securitisation and the derivatives and structured finance practices at another global law firm.

  • BNP Paribas, as arranger and initial purchaser of the €549.8 million Richmond Park CLO DAC European CLO.
  • Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, as sole arranger and initial purchaser of the €197.3 million Willow Park CLO DAC European CLO.
  • Barclays Bank PLC, as initial purchaser of the €479.1 million Cadogan Square CLO VIII DAC European CLO.
  • Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, as initial purchaser of the €306 million North Westerly CLO IV 2013 B.V. (Reset).
  • A global investment bank as arranger and senior lender under a €400 million senior secured asset-backed loan to a direct lending fund managed by one of the world’s largest alternative capital providers.
  • Investors and other market participants in recent European and U.S. CLOs (new issues, resets, refinancings, retention financings) and warehouses.
