
Morgan L. Nelson is an associate in Dechert’s global finance group and focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance and securitization matters. Morgan regularly serves clients acting as issuers, underwriters, collateral managers and mortgage loan sellers on Commercial Mortgage Backed Securitizations and Commercial Real Estate Collateralized Loan Obligations, both on collateral due diligence and structuring matters. Additionally, Morgan frequently advises Purchasers in repurchase facilities backed by floating rate commercial real estate assets in the United States and abroad.
Morgan also has experience in single family residential mortgage securitizations, CMBS large loan origination and asset-backed securitizations.
Prior to joining Dechert, Morgan served as a summer associate at a mid-sized litigation firm and a research assistant for Professor David B. Cruz. Prior to law school, she worked as a digital producer at Viacom Media Networks.
