Suj Pandya advises clients on matters relating to public and private securitizations, warehouse financing facilities and other structured transactions. He represents originators, issuers, sponsors and fund managers in transactions involving a variety of assets. Mr. Pandya's writing is featured in the Franchise Law Journal and Insolvency and Restructuring International.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Pandya was an associate in the financial restructuring practice at another global law firm. Before law school, he served as an Indiana Governor’s Fellow at the Indiana Finance Authority.

  • Horsehead Holding Company (Bankr. D. Del. 2016), a commodities debtor, in chapter 11.
  • Northshore Mainland Services, Inc. (Bankr. D. Del. and Bahamas 2015), a landscaping sub-contractor, in a multi-million dollar contractual dispute with a Bahamian resort debtor.
  • Valence Technologies, Inc. (Bankr. W.D. Texas 2014–15), a European bus OEM, in a multi-million dollar contractual dispute with a battery supplier in debtor chapter 11.
  • Gerloff (S.D.N.Y. 2013), an international business, in defending avoidance and preference claims under German insolvency law.
  • Borders Group, Inc. (Bankr. S.D.N.Y. 2012–13), a landlord, in asserting a lease rejection damages claim.
  • Litigated an asylum pro bono matter in front of the Board of Immigration Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
