Aaron Suh focuses his practice on corporate law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Suh served as a corporate associate at a leading U.S. law firm.

  • Eurovia SAS, a subsidiary of Vinci SA, in its pending acquisition of the Plants and Paving division of the Lane Construction Company for approximately US$555 million in cash.
  • Cerberus Capital Management and PaxVax in connection with the sale of PaxVax, a company focused on specialty vaccines that protect against existing and emerging infectious diseases, to Emergent BioSolutions Inc. for US$270 million.
  • Quilvest in the acquisition of approximately 55% of the equity interests in American Franchise Capital, which operates as a significant and leading franchisee of Applebee’s and YUM! Brands restaurants.
  • Northern Brewer, LLC in its sale to ZX Ventures Holdings Corp., the venture capital unit of Anheuser-Busch InBev.
  • ECN Capital Corp. (TSX: ECN), in the sale of its U.S. based commercial and vendor finance business to PNC Bank for approximately US$1.25 billion in cash.
  • Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Advisors, LLC in connection with an equity investment in BTIG, LLC, a US-based financial services firm.
  • IBM in multiple divestitures and acquisitions, including the approximately US$2.3 billion sale of IBM’s x86 server business to Lenovo and the approximately US$850 million sale of IBM’s point-of-sale systems business to Toshiba TEC Corporation.
  • Casa Cuervo S.A. de C.V. in its acquisition of the “Old Bushmills” Distillery Limited, including the Bushmills Irish Whiskey brand, from Diageo for full ownership of Don Julio Tequila and approximately US$408 million.
  • Unilever in its divestiture of the Slim-Fast brand to Kainos Capital.
  • First Solar, Inc. in its acquisition of the solar asset portfolio from GE in a transaction valued at approximately US$75 million and the establishment of a technology partnership to advance thin-film solar cells and modules.
  • Jacobs Private Equity in its approximately US$150 million control-PIPE acquisition of XPO Logistics.
  • A consortium of lenders in connection with the commitment and lending of US$190 million to a private equity firm to finance its acquisition of a U.S. aerospace engineering firm.
  • Underwriters in connection with public and private offerings of debt and equity securities valued at over US$11 billion in the aggregate by various issuers, including Zimmer Holdings, Inc., CBRE Group, Inc., The New Home Company Inc., The J.M. Huber Corporation, Diamond Resorts International, Inc., Gulfport Energy Corporation, The Jones Group, Inc. and Bumble Bee Foods, LLC.
