Eduardo Silva Romero, responsable du groupe Arbitrage International de Dechert, est spécialisé en arbitrage international, particulièrement dans les différends internationaux impliquant des États et entités étatiques.

Expert reconnu en arbitrage international, il a supervisé de nombreuses procédures devant divers centres d’arbitrage à travers le monde. Ancien Secrétaire Général Adjoint de la Cour Internationale d’Arbitrage de la CCI, M. Silva Romero a développé une expérience importante dans tous les domaines de l’arbitrage international, notamment en matière de contrats de ventes et de distributions internationaux, dans le secteur de la construction, du pétrole, des télécommunications, des fusions-acquisitions et de l’électricité. Il agit comme conseil dans le cadre d’arbitrages menés sous les auspices de la CCI, du CIRDI, de l’AAA et de la Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, ainsi que des procédures ad-hoc soumises aux règles d’arbitrage CNUDCI. M. Silva Romero a été arbitre dans plus de 100 procédures d'arbitrage.

M. Il participe à de nombreuses conférences, séminaires ainsi qu’à des cours en Europe, aux États-Unis et en Amérique latine.

Il préside la commission latino-américaine et ibérique de la CCI et est membre de la Cour internationale d’arbitrage de la CCI. Il a publié des dizaines d'ouvrages et d'articles sur l'arbitrage international.
