James Saeli focuses his practice on global tax with an emphasis on matters relating to real estate mortgage securitization. Mr. Saeli has authored an article on negative interest in the Journal of Taxation of Investments and prior to entering law school served on active duty in the US Air Force, where he received an honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant in 2006.

Before joining Dechert, Mr. Saeli was a tax associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York.
