Santiago Soto García focuses his practice in international arbitration, in both investment treaty and commercial matters.

Prior to joining Dechert, Santiago completed internships at the ICC International Court of Arbitration and at two boutique law firms in Colombia specializing in Arbitration and Public Law.

    • A Central American State in an ICC arbitration initiated by a Spanish company related to a concession contract for the construction and operation of a wind farm.
    • A Central American State in an UNCITRAL investment arbitration commenced by an Israeli company concerning their tax obligations.
    • A South American State in two ICSID arbitrations initiated by a Spanish and a Mexican company related to a concession contract in the telecommunications sector.
