
Sonali Sullivan-Mackenna focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and has acted on a range of litigation and white collar matters for clients across a variety of jurisdictions.
Ms. Sullivan-Mackenna is a core member of the London office’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee, which focuses on promoting an inclusive culture amongst all employees within the London office and seeks to foster a greater understanding of the diverse groups represented in the workplace through a programme of inclusion and diversity themed activities and events. Ms. Sullivan-Mackenna is also an active member of the Dechert Global Women’s Initiative (GWI) in London which works to create an internal support network for women at the firm as well as organize events for clients and peers. The London chapter of GWI saw Dechert named “Best International Firm for Talent Management” at the Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards in June 2019, in addition to being awarded “Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion” at the Chambers European Diversity & Inclusion Awards in October 2019.
Ms. Sullivan-Mackenna trained with Dechert and spent four months on secondment at the Royal Courts of Justice as a judicial assistant.

- Independent investigation into the Financial Conduct Authority relating to its regulation and oversight of London Capital & Finance plc.
- Acting for various Lebanese banks in defending claims by customers as a result of the Lebanese banking crisis.
